I think that purpose is very important in life for all of us,or our world won’t get better. The reason why Addison thought so is that he knew that purpose brought some advantages to everybody. Because he saw the disadvantages of living in the night by burning candles.He wanted to invent something bright to make people see something easily in the dark.
