爭當文明學生英語作文
篇一:國旗下的講話 做文明有禮的學生(英文版)
Respected teachers, dear schoolmates, good morning.
Today, I’m going to talk about how to be a polite student.
Politeness is a great merit of Chinese tradition. In ancient China, all respected men, like Confucius and Mencius, are respectful.
However, what are the polite students like?
In the morning, we get up and leave our dorms. We say “good morning” to everyone we come across. When we arrive at canteen, we stand in line quietly. After the meal, we tidy up the desk, and put chairs back into place.
As soon as we finish our meal, we go to our classroom with classmates. On our way to classroom, chase won’t be seen while dirty words won’t be heard. What you can hear is “sorry” and “please”.
When the lesson starts, books and stationary have already been put on our desks. In class, we attentively listen to teachers’ lecture, and actively engage ourselves in inquiry and discussion.
