I want to thank Jack Ma and his entire team for inviting all of us of Starbucks here today. It’s an honor to be here. Happy anniversary!

I don’t have prepared remarks today. I want to speak from my heart and speak about the subject that’s really dear to me. And semantically I would call it humanity.

Who would believe that in 1984, 1985 that we could raise money for a coffee concept in which we were going to charge 2,3,4 times more than the traditional cup of coffee, and served in the paper cup and gave health care and ownership to every single employee. Well, not many people believed it took me over a year to raise ＄3.8 million. It’s a moment in time that I want to share with you; a personal moment that I hope gives some hope and inspiration for those people who also have in trouble raising money.
