Self-protection is a lifelong topic. Earthquakes are the most dangerous disasters because they are unpredictable. If you are outside when an earthquake happens, find an open place. Apart from tall structures, electric wires can also be dangerous. If you are in a building, hide yourself under a desk or a chair at once. Don’t be afraid because the most powerful part of an earthquake lasts for only a minute. As soon as power lessens, rush to the ground carefully. You should never use lifts in this situation. Actually the death rate of an earthquake is quite low and it can be still lower if you know the right methods of escaping. I wish that everybody will be safe during earthquakes. 7+8+4
