nowadays, thanks to the rapid elevation of the living standard, many people have bought their own cars , or are planning to buy cars. owning a private car can certainly help one travel more conveniently and save much precious time.

but negative effects of the matter should be taken into consideration: air pollution and traffic jams and accidents. as chinas population is overwhelmingly large---1.3 billion-- even a small percentage, say 10%, of the population owning private cars, would mean an increase of 130,000,000 cars emitting waste gases to deteriorate the air quality and congesting the already overcrowded roads even worse.
